Advocates also attended an Urban Parks Briefing hosted by Rep. Chaka Fattah, (PA-2), Albio Sires (NJ-13), Michael Turner (OH-3), and John Lewis (GA-5). Panelists included Susan Wachter, The Wharton School; Joe Hughes, Georgia Institute of Technology (partner with CPA on the Red Fields to Green Fields Research project); Eddie George, former NFL Player and Landscape Architect, and Salin Geevarghese, Office of Sustainable Housing and Communities, Department of Housing and Urban Development. The briefing was organized by the Urban Parks Coalition, of which CPA is a member.
