LEVERAGING THE POWER OF PARKS
City Parks Alliance unites and serves a growing network of hundreds of civic and community leaders, city officials, funders, park and recreation authorities and others concerned with urban parks from nearly every state and the District of Columbia.
City Parks Alliance is the only independent, nationwide membership organization solely dedicated to promoting an urban parks agenda:
- CPA represents the collective voice for urban parks on Capitol Hill and with the Administration, advocating for increased federal investment in city parks.
- CPA uses its national platform to inspire excellence, and advance innovative new models and best practices around park programming, funding and operations.
- CPA provides trainings and a range of other support to community leaders and park authorities.
- CPA disseminates and provides a clearinghouse for studies and research that make the case for urban parks and open space.
We need you!
If you or your organization has an interest in making city parks clean, safe and vibrant; if you are working to improve neighborhoods, promote public health, or increase economic development; if you enjoy the benefits of parks where you live, want to see city parks well-maintained, care about the urban environment, and want vibrant neighborhoods for all city residents, join the City Parks Alliance!
